Recently, Sheng Ye Information Technology Services (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. ("SYIT"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sheng Ye Capital Limited (“SY Capital”, stock code: 6069.HK), entered into a cooperation agreement with Henan Chongyao Medical Device Co., Ltd. (“Henan Chongyao”) and Zhecheng County People's Hospital of Shangqiu City, Henan Province (“Zhecheng County People's Hospital”) for a hospital supply, processing and distribution ("SPD") project. SYIT will provide comprehensive smart supply chain management services for the SPD project.
As the healthcare market becomes increasingly competitive in China, the management and cost control of medical supplies, including medication, medical consumables and reagents, has become an important part of hospital operations. However, the traditional hospital management approach can no longer satisfy the needs of hospitals. Medical supplies management is becoming increasingly refined and scientific, as hospitals strive to meet higher management and cost control standards to enhance competitiveness. Take the Zhecheng Country People’s Hospital project for example, the SPD services will need to integrate supply chain management software and SaaS solutions, the Internet of Things (“IoT”) devices and big data analytics to help the hospital’s consumables management department better coordinate internal needs with external suppliers, monitor the process end-to-end, from supplies, processing, to distribution of medical consumables for the entire hospital, and fully optimize the hospital’s entire information management process.
The project has strategic implications for all parties and creates a win-win situation. The project will empower Henan Chongyao by enhancing its hospital SPD management model and accelerating its intelligent development while helping Zhecheng County People's Hospital reduce cost and improve efficiency by introducing a third-party vendor to provide refined logistics management services. SYIT, as the comprehensive SPD software and hardware solution provider for the project, will develop the intelligent logistics management system for medical supplies. The project will enable SYIT to deepen its involvement in the field of pharmaceutical circulation, expand its business potential and further integrate into the industry.
Founded in 1951, Zhecheng County People's Hospital is a non-profit general hospital which serves a number of functions including medical treatment, emergency medical services, scientific research and medical education. It is the county’s largest medical and emergency center that is equipped with advance equipment and has strong technical strengths. It was honored as a “Baby Friendly Hospital” by China’s National Health Commission (formerly Ministry of Health), UNICEF, and World Health Organization. The Hospital has won many awards, including the “Advanced Medical Institution” in Henan Province and in Shangqiu City, the “Best Hospital of Price and Measurement”, the “Hospital of Trustworthy Medicine Quality”, as well as the “Advanced Patient-centered and Quality Medical Service Provider” in Shangqiu City. The hospital has the only certified sterile supply room and chromosomal genetic laboratory in the county, the only blood supply source in the county, and is the only hospital that can perform laparoscopic surgeries independently in the county. Zhecheng County People’s Hospital is among the top-tiered general hospitals in Shangqiu City, Henan Province.
